Joan G. Gianvito (nee Lane) passed away peacefully on Monday, January 10, 2022. Born at Cooper Hospital to John A. and Grace M. Lane, Joan was 79 years old. She was a resident of Medford for the past 47 years. Beloved wife of 58 Read Obituary
Joan was a member of an informal Rutgers-Camden Dinner Club along with (L. to R) Bill & Janet Strauss, Aurora & Fran Dickson, Mary and Jack Volk, Joan & John Gianvito. This was a fun group to be with, never lacking lots of laughs. We covered all subjects including the ever dangerous subject of politics. Joan always kept the discussions lively by inserting short, often feisty, "contributions". Our dinner meetings will never be the same without Joanie. We all will miss her dearly. Aurora and I offer our sincere condolences to our dear friend Rocky, his children Lisa, Todd and Brian and their families and may God Bless Joan.
Joan will forever bring a smile to my face as I remember our adventures together as we grew up and grew old together. My thoughts and prayers are with John and the whole Gianvito family. Love Tish
