Joan A. Hamlin's Obituary
Joan A. Hamlin (nee Anderson) passed away peacefully on February 10, 2016 at Cooper Medical Center in Camden.
Born in Beverly, Joan was 80 years old. She was a resident of Delanco for the last 50 years. Joan worked for 31 years at the First National Bank of Beverly. She also worked as a floral designer at Major’s Flowers as well as co-owned and operated Her Majesty’s Bridals. Joan loved painting and crocheting, but more than anything she enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her five grandchildren.
She was the beloved wife for 37 years of Dick Hamlin. She was the devoted mother of Joanne (Raymond) Pestridge, James (Judy) Hamlin and Richard (Sharon) Hamlin. She was the cherished Mom Mom of Samantha (Andrew), Alex, Julia, Jamie and Natalie. She will also be sadly missed by her loving companion of eight years Joseph Canduci and his family. Joan was the sister of Robert (Gail) Anderson and William Anderson. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law Helen Hamlin as well as many nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives are invited to Joan's Life Celebration and viewing Tuesday Eve 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 9-10 a.m. at Snover Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 N. Her Funeral Mass will follow 10:30 a.m. at Jesus, the Good Shepherd Parish, Beverly Worship Site, 805 Warren St.
Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery, Riverside, NJ.
