Joanne Marie Stringer's Obituary
Joanne Marie Stringer (nee Hoctor), 60, of Maple Shade, NJ, formerly of Olney, passed away on July 19, 2022. Dear wife to Joseph Stringer. Beloved mother to Joseph Stringer (Lauren) and Jillian Hendricks (Brian). Devoted “GiGi” to Owen, Quinn and one on the way. Daughter of the late James and Jeanne Hoctor. Sister to Jeanne Marie Krier (late Michael) and James Hoctor. She will be missed by her nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
Joanne was a proud graduate of Mercy Vocational Highschool in Cosmetology. She will be remembered by her love of talking on the phone with her family and friends, vacationing down in Wildwood, or her favorite thing getting ready for holidays, birthdays, Weddings or Baby Showers. In her down time she would often be found shopping or spending time with her family and her beloved dog Chase. She was an active member with the Lupus Foundation of America.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Monday, July 25 th at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 E. Main Street, from 8:30-10:30am. Her funeral mass will follow at 11:00am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help of Maple Shade, corners of Fellowship Rd. and Main Street. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, www.Lupus.org.
