Joaquina Medina Saulle's Obituary
Joaquina Medina Saulle passed away peacefully on January 30, 2018 at Lourdes Medical Center in Willingboro. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Joaquina was 89 years old. She was a resident of Willingboro since 1965. Beloved wife of 66 years to Dominick Saulle. Loving mother of Josephine Garcia, Salvatore Ortiz, Victoria Solano, Cynthia Hinz, Philip Saulle, Dominick (Josie) Saulle. Loving grandmother of Lorraine (John) Selvaggio, Melissa Maxwell, Edmund (Amy) Wolfe, Jennifer (Joe) Disharoon, Michelle Hinz, Kimberly (Hal) Keller, Michael Helminski, Jason (Jennifer) Ortiz, Dominick Saulle, Anthony Saulle, Christy Saulle and Joaquina (Pete) Lucas. Great grandmother of Justin Baiardi, Taylor Hagenburg, Gabby Selvaggio, Mathew Selvaggio, Jaden Hinz, Jasmin Hinz Rittweger, Rylee Hinz Rittweger, Cassie Disharoon, Alex Disharoon, Marissa Ortiz, Meredith Ortiz, Salvatore Ortiz, Natalie Lucas, Brianna Lucas, Dominick Saulle, Megan Helminski, Nate Helminski, Jake Helminski, Elisa Keller and Robbie Keller. Sister of Juanita Rivera, Sheila Medina, Sharon Medina, Joaquin Medina and Brandon Medina and Manual Gutierrez.
Joaquina was employed as a kitchen aide for the Willingboro School District for over 15 years.
Joaquina enjoyed going to the casino, crocheting, cooking for her family, her scratch off, word puzzles and watching soap operas. Joaquina loved to dance to the Merengue. She kept track of everyone’s birthdays and anniversaries. Most importantly, Joaquina was faithful to Christ and a member of Corpus Christi Parish in Willingboro. Joaquina especially enjoyed going out to lunch every Saturday with her love of her life, Dominick.
Gathering of relatives and friends will be Saturday 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North.
Her Memorial Service will begin at 3 p.m.
