John Patrick died Thursday June 28, 2018 age 81
Family
Son of the late John and Mary Alcorn, loving husband of Carol (née Cheleden )for 57 years. Dearest father of Jacqueline (Jack Whitehead) Mary Grace (Jay McManus) Cammy (Thom Frazier) Charlotte (Terrance Flynn) John (Nancy née Walsh). Grandfather of Brittany, Gus, Nellie, Jack, Cheyenne, Bridget, Jake, Sheamus, Charlie, Austin, Michael, Sabrina. Survived by a brother, Robert, sisters Patricia Magee of Afton, WY, and Geraldine Breish of Ocean City, NJ. Predeceased by sisters Cathleen Sanborn of Tacoma, WA, and Maureen Alcorn.
Legacy
Jack had a strong faith in God. Blessed with patience and a determined spirit, he endured the difficulties of Lewy Body Parkinsons. He served in the Army; was a Vice President for Liberty Federal Savings; and enjoyed many years as franchise owner of Mom’s Bake at Home Pizza , Chestnut Hill. Jack graduated Roman Catholic High School ’54, and La Salle College. He was a dedicated member of Germantown Lions Club, St Helena’s bowling league. As the Piano Man he was the center of many family sing alongs.
