John, as I say goodbye to you one last time today, I'm trying to make sense of why you were taken from me so soon and come to terms with the fact that I'll never see you again and you'll never share our home and life with me again. This was so unexpected and not how we planned our future together. I'm going to try to pick up the pieces though and find a way to go on without you because I know that's what you would've wanted. Gonna really miss you-son in-law. Always loved spending time with you. You always had great stories, and I enjoyed bantering back and forth witty quips with you. My bathroom you did for me is still the best room in the house.... love it. What a great guy, a great husband, a great Dad, and a great son in law, who had a life well lived. Love you son.

I was sitting with a friend when I heard the shocking news. The best way I could describe John to her was "Just a Great Guy"! He would do anything for anyone and if you were with him you knew you'd be laughing your butt off and having a blast no matter what you were doing! One of the kindest, most compassionate people I've had the pleasure of knowing. The many years of good times and wonderful memories are cherished and will be embedded in my heart forever! God must have had a special plan when he took this wonderful man way to soon - but he will never be forgotten! My deepest condolences to all of the family. I have been Cindy's friend since grade school. I just remember her coming to my house
to let me know that she met John(they had just been dating awhile), and how great it was going, how happy she was shined through. As long as I have known her, I had never seen her so happy, which made me so happy for her. It's way too soon, but I am grateful to the Lord above, that my dear friend found true love, some people never do. When I seen them both together, it just clicked. John was a great husband, father, & general all around good guy. He will be missed terribly.
