John P. Dunbar Jr.'s Obituary
John Phillip Dunbar, Jr. passed away peacefully on December 2, 2021. Born in Camden to John P. and Carrie Dunbar, John was 97 years old. He was a life long resident of Pennsauken.
Beloved husband of 73 years to the late Marion E. Dunbar (Keys).
John is survived by his 2 children; Jacklyn McBeath, and Gary Dunbar and his wife, Chris, his 4 grandchildren; Kathryn McBeath, John McBeath III and his wife Lauren, Kimberlee Bittle and her husband, Michael, and Kari Dunbar. John was also great-grandfather to Claire, Ella, Noah, Tobias, Georgia and Winnie.
John proudly served his country in the US Army in China-Burma-India during WWII. He was employed as a machinist for many years. John was a lifetime volunteer for the East Pennsauken Fire Department.
A gathering of family and friends for John P. Dunbar will be held at Givnish of Maple Shade 600 East Main Street, Maple Shade, NJ on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Family sharing of memories will follow at 10:30 a.m.
Inurnment will take place at Bethel Memorial Park, Pennsauken, NJ.
