John Philip Fisher's Obituary
John P. Fisher passed away peacefully with his family by his side on September 22, 2020. Born in Chestnut Hill, John was 91 years old. He was a resident of Medford and formerly of Mt. Laurel. John was graduate of Wyndmoor High School, where he played football and was on the gymnastics team. For many years, John was a member of the Masons. John enjoyed nature, dancing with his favorite partner, spending time with friends and family, especially at the Jersey Shore.
Beloved husband of 58 years to MaryLou Fisher prior to her passing in 2013. Loving father of Deb (Tom) Walsh, Lauren (Phil) Sathmary, Luanne (Ed) Mulvenna. Devoted grandfather to Brian (Madison) Walsh, Megan (Jarrad) Jordan, Jake Sathmary, Zach Mulvenna, and great grandfather to Zach Jr. and Jayce Jordan. Brother to deceased siblings Bud and Marie Durchsbrung.
We wish all of our friends and family could join us in honoring our Father, however due to Covid, the Church has limited capacity and will be by invitation only on Saturday, September 26th at Saint Matthew's Lutheran Church, 318 Chester Avenue, Moorestown, NJ at 11:00. Attendees will need to wear masks for the church service. There will be a luncheon at Riverton Country Club at 12:30 for church service attendees, 1416 Highland Ave, Cinnaminson, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, https://www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org/shc.
