John V. Girardot's Obituary
John V. Girardot, a resident of Delran for 15 years, passed away on August 1, 2014. He was 78 years old.
John was the beloved husband of LaVerne (nee Hutton) for 57 years. Loving father of Mark (Diane) of Chaddsford, PA, Donna Girardot Jones (David) of Cinnaminson, and David (Nadia) of Phila., PA. Dear grandfather of Austin Girardot, Brandon Jones and Erika Jones. Devoted son of Grace Roberts. Loving brother of Jean Kelly and Suzanne Whitbeck.
John always enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and especially loved his grandchildren. He graduated from Red Bank Catholic High School and received his Bachelor’s degree in Business at St. Peters College in Jersey City. John retired from Ametek as a corporate credit manager after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Elks, and was a Cinnaminson Fireman for 10 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend John’s life celebration and gathering at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Rte. 130 N., on Monday evening from 7 – 9 pm. His funeral Mass will be on Tuesday morning, 10:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo, Branch Pike and Pomona Rd., Cinnaminson. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s name may be made to the American Lung Association, www.lung.org, or to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org.
