John G. Grace's Obituary
John G. Grace passed away peacefully on May 29, 2019 at his residence in Delran surrounded by his family. Born in Philadelphia, Jack was 93 years old. He was a resident of Delran and formerly of Palmyra. Beloved husband of 69 years to Alma (nee Dooley). Loving father of Barbara Grace, Jack (Elaine), Kathy (Ed) Walz, James (Kelly), Diane (Paul) Jakubowski, Anita (Steve) Urian, and the late Michael Grace. Cherished grandfather to Douglas (Kimberly) Hager, Jennifer Smith, Ryan Walz (Stephanie), Danielle (Mark) Martino, Chelsea Grace (Troy), Zach Adams, Tyler Adams, Paige Adams, Brieanne Urian (Stephen), and Taylor Urian.
Great grandfather of Jackson, Daulton, and Lorenzo. Brother of Robert Crehen and Barbara Markward. Also surviving are many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Jack received his BA from La Salle University. He proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII. Jack was employed at PF Collier in Delran. He was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, St. Joseph’s Council 1984, Palmyra, NJ. Jack enjoyed golfing, the Phillies, the Eagles and especially spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 9:-10:30 a.m. at Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North. His Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at the Resurrection Parish, Church of the Holy Name, Delran. Interment, with Military Honors, will take place at Lakeview Memorial Park.
