JOHN FRANCIS HESKO
(July 10, 1930 – April 27, 2015)
John F. Hesko, age 84 old of Wildwood Crest, NJ and formerly of Cinnaminson, NJ passed away peacefully on April 27th. Devoted husband of the late Rita C. (nee O’Donnell) for 53 years. Loving father to Sharon Profera (Chuck), Gerald Hesko (Genean) and the late Brian Hesko. Grandfather to Kerri, Dominic, and Nolan. He was loved and will be missed by his many nephews and nieces.
He was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Frank and Josephine Hesko. He graduated in 1948 from Northeast Catholic High School where he played both baseball and football.
He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Army Ordnance Corps. He was employed as an Offset Pressman / Printer for many years. In addition, he owned a painting and construction business.
He enjoyed watching his Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies and investing himself in his family.
Friends and relatives are invited to John's Life Celebration Services on Sunday May 3rd from 11:00pm to 1:00pm at Snover Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 N., followed by a service at 1:00pm. Interment will take place at Lakeview Memorial Park at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Parkinson’s Foundation or Disabled American Veterans.
