John J. "Jack" Hinke's Obituary
John (Jack) James Hinke, 83, of Delran passed away August 3, 2021 at his home for the past two years, Harmony Village, Moorestown, NJ.
Born December 22, 1937 in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia, son of the late Catherine (Kitty) and John (Buck) Hinke.
Predeceased by the love of his life, Nora (Matino), whom he married in 1961. They shared a wonderful love story until her passing in 1982. They had four children who were born in Philadelphia before moving to Delran.
Jack is survived by his son, John J. Hinke Jr. and wife, Teresa, and their children, Jaclyn, Jessica, and Matthew. Son, Michael and his children, Michael, Nora, and Sophia. Son, Mark and wife Cindy, and their children, Brett and Aiden. Daughter, Mary and her children, Kaylie and Rachel Undercuffler.
Jack graduated North Catholic High School in 1955. He spent the majority of his career in the food brokerage business culminating in a vice president position at the H.A. McGinnis Company. Jack enjoyed playing golf, watching Philly sports, spoiling the family dogs, and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, plays and dance recitals. He will be most remembered for his keen sense of humor, his love for his family and spending time with his 10 grandchildren who adored him. He will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Marlton, 398 East Main St., on Saturday August 7th from 9 am to 10:30 am. His Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 am at St. Isaac Jogues Parish, 349 Evesboro-Medford Rd., Marlton. Interment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Route 130 N. in Cinnaminson.
