John G. Kristian's Obituary
John George Kristian, lifelong resident of Pennsauken, born January 30, 1929, passed away on February 14, 2017 at the age of 88.
John was the beloved husband of the late Mary 'Pat' Patricia (nee Curry) for 52 years. Loving father of Karen Guezo (Michael), Kenneth (daughter Sarah), the late Keith, Kevin (Victoria, daughter Heather, sons George and James), and Kirk, (Jana, son Garrett and daughter Shaylee). Loving great grandfather of Iris.
John operated Selbee Communications then KrisComm Sound, both in Pennsauken. John served during the Korean War at Keesler Air Force base where he met his future bride, 'Pat'. John served as Master of the Merchantville Lodge, was Sovereign Prince of the Scottish Rite in Collingswood and received the highest honor of the 33rd degree. John was a member of Crescent Shrine Temple and served as Potentate.
On March 9th, 2017, visitation 9 to 10:45 am, Eucharist 11 am and luncheon to follow in Morse Hall at Grace Episcopal Church 7 East Maple Avenue, Merchantville. Interment will be private at the Major William Doyle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals , 700 Highland Dr. Westhampton, N.J. 08060 as John was both a contibutor and believer in the work of the Shriners Hospitals for Children .
