My name is Noble Nick Sablick. I'm a retired US Airways mechanic. I worked in Philly for 5 years. I always remember John as a great mechanic. He was always so calm when he spoke to others, He also had a great smile and since of humor that would put you at ease. Working so far from home, you needed people like John to make you feel welcome. I can say it like the Irish do so well, they say, "I'm sorry for your troubles" I will pray for your comfort and healing. I worked with John for many years in Atlantic City and Philadelphia. He was an excellent mechanic and a great friend. My heartfelt condolences to Barbara, Frank and all his family.

John and I coached Marlton soccer together for many years. He was what every coach should aspire to be. He always encouraged and cheered on EVERY player from the best players, to the players who had a difficult time. He would often take players aside who were down ( some crying) because they missed a goal or let one in, they always came out of that meeting with John smiling. He wasn’t just trying to help his team, Saturday mornings he would by himself line all of the fields for the entire league. Coach John was a beamingly proud father and Frankie could kick a soccer ball a country mile. I can still hear his booming voice as Frankie crossed mid field “LAUNCH IT FRANKIEEEEEE” with his body twisting like he was kicking the ball himself. He would crack up when I would point out “your doing it again” Over those years and up to now we would see John, Barbara and Frankie in church. Just like he was as a coach, John truly was what everyone man should aspire to be, a devoted husband and father. They sat in the front left and we were the back left so we watched how Frankie grew grew and grew. I can not imagine what Barbara, Frankie and the extended family are going through. I cant recall ever seeing John without Frankie, and we believe it is no different now. He will always be with you. We will pray for Barbara, Frankie to have the strength to get through this sad and difficult time. It was an honor to know him and he will be missed.

John worked with my husband as an aircraft mechanic, and with me when I was an agent years ago. John was this amazing,kind, sweet, great story teller. I would love it when he would come to my gate and tell me stories of what was going on in his life. I remember him telling me the first time he met his wife, Barbara, it was love at first sight! I was happy for him, because i knew family was everything to him and one day he would make a great husband and an amazing dad, and he did.
i pray God gives his beautiful wife, Barbara and his son, Frank, the strength and courage to get through these most difficult days ahead. I know in my heart, John is watching over them.

We were so sad to hear of John’s passing. John was one of the truly most kindest, caring persons we have ever met! I had the honor of meeting John at the Aramingo Diner and later on at USAir.
