John F. Moore's Obituary
John F. Moore, of Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away on September 23rd, 2025, at the age of 68. John was born on December 2nd, 1956, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Henry Michael Moore and the late Helen Kathryn Moore (nee Adamof).
Devoted husband to Rita (nee Robinson). Beloved father to Christopher (Sarah), Richard (Pang), Kyle (Nicole), and Joseph (Sara). Loving grandfather to Alexander, Cassandra, Madelyn, Joey Jr., and Jemma.
Cherished brother to Richard, Robert (Patricia), Helen Scherer (Charles), Rose Meiers (Ed), Ellie Hughes (Frank), and Joan Gnat (Ray).
John was a lifelong fan of all things Philadelphia—he loved the city, its sports teams, and the vibrant communities that make it special. In his early years, he worked in hotel management in downtown Philadelphia, where he met the love of his life, Rita. Together, they built their careers and eventually moved out of the city to pursue opportunities in real estate, working across South Jersey and connecting with countless people along the way.
Known for his generous spirit and willingness to help wherever he could, John took pride in staying active, whether through work or hobbies. He enjoyed bowling, bicycling, and golf, and remained involved in his community and family life throughout the years. John had a deep passion for sports, not only of his favorite teams, but also coaching his children and local youth; always eager to share his knowledge and passion for the games.
He enjoyed gatherings with friends, a cold Guinness, red wines, and visiting stadiums across the country with Tommy Flynn & his band of brothers from elementary school, making lasting memories along the way. He has connected with many people in his travels but they are a testament to the bonds of friendship that were formed in kindergarten and lasted throughout the years.
A seasoned traveler, John explored destinations around the world, including Thailand, Japan, Portugal, and Spain. He cruised the breathtaking Alaskan coastline and, most recently, celebrated a beautiful anniversary with Rita on a trip to Italy.
