Joseph Angelone's Obituary
Joseph Angelone, 89, of Deptford, NJ, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2023. Born in Colli a Volturno, Italy, on December 12, 1934, to the late Vito Angelone and the late Angela Teresa Angelone (nee Siravo).
Joseph was the beloved husband of the late Rita Angelone (nee Rodriguez); loving father of Theresa Angelone (William Kurtz) and the late Vito Angelone; cherished grandfather of Tina Nichols, Martha Angelone and Sarah Angelone.
Joe grew up in Italy but came here as a teenager in search of the American dream. He spent the majority of his life working as a crane operator in the construction field. Joe was an avid hunter, beagle trainer, and accordion player. In his later years, Joe enjoyed watching Phillies games as well as pizza nights with his family.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Sacred Heart Church, located at 103 4th Street, Riverton, NJ. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am to 11 am, with a funeral mass to commence at 11 am. Following the mass, burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, located at 3301 W Cheltenham Ave., Philadelphia, PA, 19150.
