Joseph A. Garant's Obituary
Joseph A. Garant, of Delran, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2019. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, he was 73 years old.
Joe earned his degree at LaSalle University and was a history teacher for the Willingboro school district for 33 years. He was an excellent golf coach, earning his place in the NJ Golf Coaches Hall of Fame.
Joe was the beloved husband of Katherine V. (nee Martin) for 52 years. Loving father of Joseph W. (Elizabeth) and Daniel C. (Kelly). Dear grandfather to Kayla. Cherished brother of Josette Largent (Alan), Michele Grimmer (Jimmy), Walter (Sheri), and the late Mark. Brother-in-law of William Martin, Margaret Kolowski (Joseph), Mary Hannigan (Jon), the late James Martin (Bernadette), and the late Mia Glucker (Hank). He is survived by many wonderful nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will miss him tremendously.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, June 14th, at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 4th St. and Linden Avenue, Riverton, from 10 am – 11 am. His Mass will begin at 11 am, followed by entombment in Lakeview Memorial Park, Mausoleum by the Lake, Cinnaminson, NJ.
