Joseph J. Giordano's Obituary
Joseph J. Giordano, age 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
Born in Waterbury, Connecticut to the late Ralph and Josephine Giordano, Joe had been a proud resident of Cherry Hill, New Jersey for the past 50 years. He was predeceased by his brothers, Ralph and Daniel Giordano.
Joe was the beloved husband of 39 years to Janice M. Giordano (née Van Haren). He was a loving father to Jill (Gerald) Fuselli and William (Jennifer) Giordano, and a proud grandfather to Sam (Emily) Giordano, Olivia Fuselli, Justin Fuselli, Michael Giordano, and Emily Giordano. He was also a cherished great-grandfather to Remi Rae Fuselli, Sage Giordano, and Maggie Giordano. He is survived by his sister, Beatrice (the late Anthony) Solomita.
Joe earned his degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and went on to have a successful career as a corporate officer with Product Research and Chemical Corporation in Gloucester, New Jersey.
A longtime member of Riverton Country Club for over 50 years, Joe served on the Board of Directors and as President. He had a passion for an active lifestyle and enjoyed snow skiing, racquetball, golf, and tennis. Through his work, he traveled extensively around the world, including trips to Europe, Japan, Australia, Iran, Turkey and behind the Iron Curtain.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with Joe’s Life Celebration Service to follow at 12:00 noon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
