Joseph L. Marchese's Obituary
Joseph Louis Marchese, 79, of Delran, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 18, 2021, with his wife and daughters by his side.
He was born to Salvatore and Massimina (Mae) Marchese, March 30, 1942 in South Philly. Joe received his Bachelor’s Degree at La Salle University and his Master’s Degree at West Chester University. He was a teacher at Archmere Academy, owner of Marchese’s Children’s Wear, and most recently, Vice President of Business Development at Pennoni Associates. He considered his colleagues to be his close friends.
Joe was the most amazing husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen A. (nee Deckard) and his three daughters, Jeannette (Mike), Renee (Frank), and Colleen (Chris). He is the proud grandfather of McKenzie, Victoria, Salvatore, and Michael. He is also survived by his brother Anthony (Marie) and his sister RoseAnne (Lou). Joe is further survived by many other family members and friends who he loved dearly.
Joe loved spending time with his family, especially his wife, children, and grandchildren. He created countless memories at Indian Princesses, family parties, and celebrating his 50th Anniversary to his wife with a beautiful party. Going on cruises, taking family vacations to Wildwood Crest, skiing in the Poconos, and writing his memorable Christmas letters brought him such joy. He also enjoyed playing cards, walking his property, and watching the birds.
Joe always made sure to help those in need and it was very important to him that all people take care of those less fortunate.
