We are deeply saddened at the loss of our brother and our uncle Joe Osendowski.
He was always an important presence in our lives. We have many many fond memories of our time together.
We remember especially the love and care he had for his children, grandchildren and now great grandchild. It was just beautiful. He was so proud.
He also cared for others especially family and friends. He had opened his home up on many occasions to those who were in need at the time. I remember one instance when he had a Harley motorcycle in his living room. His house guest did not want to park it outside. I was incredulous and thought it looked just awful and being an older sister I told him so. He just shrugged his shoulders, laughed and said Oh well, I don't mind.
Joe, Dennis and I worked together and ran a business for years. Not easy for families, but we made it work. The love of family was more important.
Through his many struggles he tried his best to cope and put a smile on his face.
We will miss that smile and in time we will smile because he is at peace.
Someone so special will not be forgotten. He will live on forever in our heart.
