Joyce S. Deitz
Passed away peacefully on November 18, 2016 at Virtua Hospital in Mt. Holly surrounded by her family.
Born in Riverside, Joyce was 86 years old.
She was a Palmyra resident for over 75 years.
Joyce was employed at Sherman Car Wash in the late 1960's.
She was an active member of the Central Baptist Church, where she served as a deaconess, member of the choir and sang with the Glory Singers. Joyce was member of the Tri-Boro Council of Churches. She also volunteered her time driving for FISH. She served as president to the SJ SPCA. Joyce enjoyed her pets, especially her dog, Sheba and cat, Ma-Lu.
She also looked forward to Sunday dinners with her family.
Beloved wife of 62 years to the late Walter F. Deitz.
Loving mother of Deborah K. Deitz and Jeffery S. Deitz. Grandmother of Ashley, Eric, Thomas and Andrew.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Joyce’s Life Celebration and viewing from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23rd, at the Central Baptist Church 514 Maple Ave. Palmyra, NJ 08065. Her Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Central Baptist Church and/or any Animal Shelter within your area.
