Judeth M. Martin's Obituary
Judeth "Judy" Maria Martin (née Perry) passed away peacefully at home on February 23, 2025, at the age of 69, surrounded by her loving family and her devoted dog, Maddie. After a courageous battle with cancer, she left this world just as she lived in it—wrapped in the love of those who meant the most to her.
Born on September 8, 1955, in Geneva, NY, Judy was the beloved daughter of the late Samuel Perry and Rita Marie Scavuzzo. From an early age, she cherished family connections and carried that love throughout her life, always making time to check in, catch up, and keep those bonds strong, no matter the distance.
Judy was the heart of her family—devoted wife to Paul Martin, loving mother to Joshua Martin and his wife Crista, and Luke Martin. But her greatest joy was being "Grammy" to Serena and Tyler, who filled her days with laughter, love, and the joy only grandchildren can bring.
She is also survived by her siblings Jeanette Krabiel (Jim), Janine Spengler (Rick), Cristina Lawler (and her late husband Anthony), and Michael Perry. She is reunited in peace with her late brother, Carl Perry.
Judy had a gift for making people feel special. Whether it was through one of her famous home-cooked meals, a long conversation over endless cups of coffee, or a handwritten note to let you know she was thinking of you, she made sure the people in her life felt loved. She found joy in simple pleasures—kayaking at the mountain house, baking for family gatherings, and sharing stories with old friends she was always so delighted to reconnect with.
Her family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Maria and the nurses and staff at Serenity Hospice for their compassionate care.
Friends are invited to celebrate Judy’s life on Saturday, March 1st, at Givnish’s of Marlton, 398 E. Main St. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM. Interment will be private.
