Judy Ruth Masucci's Obituary
Judy Ruth Masucci (née Olson) passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025, with her family by her side. Born in Livingston, NJ to Emil and Jane Olson, Judy was 76 years old. She was a resident of Marlton for 20 years and formerly lived in Medford.
Beloved wife of 54 years to John “Jay” Masucci. Loving mother of Justin Masucci and Jamie (Carl) Naurath. Cherished grandmother of Shea, Carter, Parker, and Nolan. Dear sister of Emil (Adrienne) Olson and Karen (Timothy) Nugent. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and other close family members.
Judy, a graduate of Overlook Hospital School of Nursing, had a gift for helping others. She committed years of service to those in need while working at Overlook Hospital until deciding to stay at home and start a family. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Judy dedicated her life to those she loved. She will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, remarkable resilience, and nurturing nature. Throughout her life, Judy touched many hearts with her generosity, warmth, and ability to make everyone feel loved. She created countless memories with family and friends and was always ready with a warm hug, a listening ear, or a playful joke.
Judy enjoyed playing cards, crafting, reading, puzzle books, the beach, and a good mystery, but Judy especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Her greatest joy was found in her role as Grammy. Her love for her grandchildren knew no bounds and she treasured every moment spent with them, whether it was playing games, creating art projects, or reading stories.
Her legacy of love, resilience, joy and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Judy was simply special.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, July 17th, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at: Church of St. Joan of Arc 100 Willow Bend Rd, Marlton, New Jersey 08053.
Judy’s Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m.
