Julian J. DiFiore
Julian “Jack” DiFiore passed away peacefully, Monday July 15, 2019, surrounded by his loving family and wife, Joan, of 68 years. He was 89.
Julian was born and raised in Camden New Jersey, where he started his beloved family and then moved to Delran to raise his children. He built his dream home in Moorestown and eventually moved to Marlton. He would spend summers with Joan, his children and grandchildren in Ocean City, NJ and escape the winters to Naples, Florida.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War.
Julian is known for his loving personality and willingness to help others.
Julian has hit many milestones in his professional career that only some dream about. With years of hard work and determination, he accomplished remarkable achievements. In 1949, he started his career in the retail food industry as a part-time clerk at A&P. By 1984, he was named President of Super Fresh and received A&P’s highest award for Outstanding Performance. He then joined Waldbaums in Long Island, New York as Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. He co-taught in the Saint Joseph’s University Academy of Food Marketing Master’s Degree Program and served on Saint Joseph’s Board of Directors & Academy of Food Marketing for 25 years. One of his most cherished accomplishments was being Boys’ Town of Italy, Man of the Year in 1985.

He is survived by his beloved wife Joan DiFiore, his two sons Michael (Jan) and Paul and his daughter Donna Carmody (Terry) as well as his grandchildren, Kristin, Ryan and Carley.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Givnish of Marlton 398 East Main Street.
Julian’s Funeral Mass will follow 11 a.m. at St Joan of Arc Church 100 Willow Bend Road Marlton, NJ.
Entombment will take place at Calvary Mausoleum, Cherry Hill, NJ.
