Karen Campbell's Obituary
Karen Campbell (née Jones) peacefully passed away on September 2, 2020. Born October 6, 1947 in Audubon, NJ.
Beloved wife of Don for 42 years. Mother of Jim (Nancy), Tracey, Joe & Kathy. Grandmother of Anthony (Kerri), Michael (Heather), Eric, Shane, Andrew, Austin, Aaron & Joey and great-grandmother to Bennett & Laila. Karen is survived by her dear brother, Bob (Tess) and loving sister, Pat (Bob). Also survived by a large extended family of nieces and nephews that stretches from New Jersey to Maine.
Karen enjoyed going to any family event and was her grandsons’ biggest cheerleader. Karen spent many hours on buses traveling with her Black Watch family and was a surrogate mom and grandmom to so many kids that were not her own.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, on Tuesday, September 8th, from 8 am to 10 am. A Eulogy will begin at 9:50 am at the funeral home. Her funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo, 2500 Branch Pike, Cinnaminson. Both the eulogy and the Mass will be live-streamed from this tribute page. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson. Masks are required, and social distancing and crowd restrictions will be enforced at the funeral home, church, and cemetery.
Because Karen was always giving to others, even at times when she went without, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Karen’s memory to the Food Bank of South Jersey, www.foodbanksj.org.
