Kathryn E. Shelmerdine's Obituary
Kathryn E. Shelmerdine, 56, lifelong resident of Maple Shade, passed away on Friday December 7, 2018.
Kathy loved playing pool and spending time with family and friends, especially during her favorite holidays St. Patrick's Day, Memorial Day and Halloween. As an avid collector of specialty items, Kathy had a wide collection of yo-yos, lighters, sands and Marlboro miles! She also enjoyed frequenting the Alden Cafe and the VFW Social Club located near her home in Maple Shade. Kathy loyally worked as a manager at BJs of Maple Shade for 23 years.
Kathryn was the beloved partner to (late) Debra Snyder. She is survived by her siblings Kerry Shelmerdine, Regina Wildmann (Mike), Carol Harris (Pat), Dennis Shelmerdine (Andrea), Marianne Newman (Gene), Barbra Lyons (Jan), Richard Shelmerdine (Daniela). Kathryn was also a caring aunt to many nieces and nephews and a loving Me-mom to Kira and Jackson.
A gathering of family and friends will be held for Kathryn E. Shelmerdine from 9 am-11:30 am on Friday December 14, 2018 located at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 East Main Street Maple Shade, NJ 08052. Following the gathering a memorial service will take place at the funeral home at 11:30 am.
