Kathy and I worked together at 2 facilities- she was the Nurse Unit Manager. It was a pleasure to work with and learn from her, and have some fun as well. She had moved near to me, so a few winters ago we carpooled in her SUV during snowstorms. Think it was this year(?) she was walking along the river with her granddaughter-Kathy often spoke of family and grandchildren, so it was nice to meet and talk. Miss you, Kathy. Kathy was my ADON and then my DON at Virtua. She was a great boss who was knowledgeable and supportive! Everyone knew how Kathy loved her Eagles but I was not the sportsfan that she was. One Monnday she came to work and I asked her how the Eagles did and she said great. I said how did Jonathan do and she replied who is Johnathan? I replied , the Eagles quarterback. She laughed and said you mean Donavan. Omg, so funny!!! I still laugh when I think about it!!! Kathy will truly be missed and I was blessed to have her in my life!!
Kathy was a wonderful person. Not only was she the grandmom of my 3 kids she was my 2nd mom. She always made me feel like family from beginning till the end. I'm so glad that 3 days before she passed we spoke. We texted and talked often and she told me she loved me. We also spoke about Carson Wentz and how she wanted him to choke and get out. The kids loved their grandmom so much. As she called them, buster, maddie cakes and livy. We had many inside jokes including my favorite HURRICANE JO A QUINN. 16 years she was a mother to me and I feel the loss very deeply. I will forever love and miss her. ❤️💔💔💔
Kathy and I worked in the hospital. She was a great coworker and friend. We had so many good times working together. So sorry for your loss. I will be praying for your family.
Kathy was one of a kind. She was always nice to everyone. I am so sad she is no longer with us. I just viewed her message to me for my birthday again and

Kathy was always a wonderful cousin. She had a quick wit and would flash her slightly devilish smile to show you she understood where you were coming from. She bragged about her son, Brian, her grandchildren, and her brothers whenever you asked about them since she loved her family so deeply. Kathy, you will be missed by many. Sincere condolences and love to her family and friends.
I'm also in shock. While I Hadden her for years, we talked occasionally Facebook recently. She was a great fried from about 7th/8th grade. She was always there to talk to which I did a lot about lifes problems. We had so much fun through the years in school that bring many happy memories. I wish I had the chance to see her and relive those times. She will be always in my heart as an AMAZING FRIEND. May God bless her and her family and keep them in his arms.
I am still in shock. I was so lucky to have you as a sister-in-law. You were great to both Bill and I and our kids. From weddings to births and birthdays and holidays, you were always there. Whenever we were together, we always had such a good time. I will miss those days on the beach and the “Seafood Feasts” we used to have. I will miss those pool parties. I will miss those NY trips visiting our NY family. I will miss those Phillies games we went to. I will miss laughing so hard that it hurt our stomachs. Plain and simple, I will miss you dearly. You were not just family by marriage, but by choice. You will be sadly missed. ❤️
