Kenneth Ellis Asquith, of Moorestown, NJ, son of the late Ellis and Dorothy Asquith, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2021 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Jeannette, survived by his stepson Kevin Jon Read Obituary
To my longtime friend
I met Ken in 1965 at Ultronics System Corporation in South Jersey where he met Jeanette. He left Ultronics in 1968 to start Datamedia with Frank Seracki and Tom Combs. I left at the same time to start Infotron with Stan Hunkins and Jim Hahn. He sold Datamedia in the late 70s and I left Infoton two years later to start Datatel. Ken joined our Board of Directors until we sold the Company in 1987. He was very insightful and always had a great sense of humor. He was a tremendous help on our Board and was one of the reasons Datatel was so successful.
He and Jeanette always came to my New Years Eve parties. I remember one party when I had just received a trumpet for Christmas. Ken and Jeanette both played it. Jeanette surprised us because she could actually play it and was pretty good (she finally told us she played trumpet in high school). Ken not so good.
I will miss my friend Ken. My most sincerest condolences to Kevin and family.

Unfortunately we cannot attend your service due to Covid19 restrictions. We will always remember you as a kind, funny guy. Our last meeting was in the Summer of 2020 and we had good conversation. It was good to see you. We’ll truly miss you.

I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Ken through the condominium association where he resided. I will remember him for his keen intelligence and quick wit. He was always extremely generous with his time, always willing to assist in solving problems. He was an absolute treasure for his community and will be missed.
