Kenneth J. Carn's Obituary
We are sad to share the news of the passing of Kenneth Carn on December 19, 2017, due to complications from cancer. We are sorry to have lost him, but we know he is at peace. We are grateful for the time we had with him, we will cherish our fond memories, and know we will be together again.
Ken worked as a graphic designer for Burlington County Times and also the Courier Post for many years.
Ken leaves behind his loving wife of 30 years, Kathy, and his loving son and best friend, Chris. Also, his furry friend Jewels will surely miss him.
Ken is survived by his sister, Kathie Reiselt, and his brother, Michael Carn (Janice). He is predeceased by his brother Joseph Carn (Karen). He was the brother-in-law of Patricia DeCamp, Sandra Fisher (Lee), and Edward Iannuzzi (Debbie). He also leaves behind countless nieces, nephews, and special friends he has met throughout his life.
Ken’s first love was his family. His second was his music. He loved writing music and playing the guitar and violin. He loved the Beatles, and he was also a talented artist. He was a fan of the TV show “Dr. Who”, and his favorite phrase from the show while going through cancer was, “sometimes the only choices you have are bad ones, but you still have to choose.”
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ken’s life celebration gathering at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 N., on Saturday December 23rd from 9 am – 10:30 am. A Mass will follow at 11 am at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 4th Street and Linden Avenue, Riverton. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ken’s memory may be made to the Samaritan Hospice, www.samaritannj.org/giving/memorial-gifts.
