Kettly Donat's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kettly "Fifi" Maurice Donat of Clarksboro, NJ. Fifi departed this world at her home on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
Fifi was born in Gonaives, Haiti and moved to Port-au-Prince when she was young. She immigrated to the United States in December 1970 and lived in Brooklyn, NY with her family. In 1975, she married Edwin Donat, her long-time childhood friend. They had four children together and raised them in Long Island, NY. Fifi worked for Florence Nightingale for many decades, where she was an experienced and respected Certified Nursing Assistant.
Fifi was a life-long learner and would constantly teach herself new skills. She had an amazing gift for picking up new languages and spoke several fluently. Fifi poured her energy into everything she did, from cooking exceptional meals for those she loved, to dedicating several hours each day to exercising and practicing yoga.
Guided by her deep Christian faith, Fifi spent much of her time praying for her loved ones, offering advice, and spreading positivity through hugs and laughter. Her witty sense of humor, words of wisdom, and joyful spirit blessed everyone who knew her, and she will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
Fifi was the beloved wife of Edwin for over 48 years. She was a devoted mother to her four children: Edwin, Jeffrey, Kimberly, and Amber. She found immense joy in her role as the grandmother to: Kettley, Aiden, Asher, Khloe, Alexandra, Liam, and Ryan. She was also the mother-in-law to: Tiffany, Frederick, and Heleat. Fifi is survived by her uncle Reynold and cousin Patricia, both of whom were like siblings to her. She will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Fifi was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin, her grandparents, and parents.
The Donat Family invites friends and family to celebrate Fifi's life at the following arrangements:
Saturday June 20th a service at 10 am at Givnish of Marlton, 398 East Main Street, followed by interment in Park View Cemetery, 25 Fostertown Road, Medford, NJ.
