Kevin D. Mulcrone's Obituary
Kevin D. Mulcrone, 68, of West Berlin, NJ passed away peacefully on July 24, 2024 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 30, 1956 to Robert and Dorothy Mulcrone. Kevin was the devoted husband of Bonnie Mulcrone for over 45 years and a cherished father to Ryan (Lindsay) and Brandon. He was the beloved Grandpa to Caroline and Amelia (plus a grandson on the way). Kevin was a dear brother to Kathie (Bob), Bob (Maggie), Tim (Jan), Susan, and Dave (Theresa), and a brother-in-law to Mark (Diane). He was the son-in-law to Gerald Berman and the late Florence Berman. Kevin is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and will be deeply missed by his dogs Mason and Grace.
Born and raised in Detroit, Kevin was a proud alumnus of Michigan State University and an avid supporter of their football team. His passion for football was passed down through his family beginning with his grandfather, a historic player for Notre Dame and NCAA & NFL coach. In the last few decades Kevin also became a dedicated fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, attending many Phillies games and faithfully following and watching the Eagles. Retired after a long and successful business career, Kevin enjoyed attending numerous concerts and craft fairs, and as a hobby enjoyed wood carving. Above everything else, family was most important to Kevin, and he was deeply devoted to his wife, children, and grandchildren.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with a celebration of his life beginning at 1:00 pm. The service will be live-streamed at the following link: Livestream. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kevin’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
