LaMarr D. Aster's Obituary
LaMarr D. Aster (nee Foster) of Delran, NJ, passed away peacefully on May 9th, 2026, at the age of 79 years after battling Alzheimer’s and dementia for many years.
LaMarr was the beloved wife to the late Frank Aster who passed in 2012. Dear mother of Dawn Larson (Mark), Steven Buchhalter (Jayne) and Brian Buchhalter (the late Jude). Loving Grandmother of Tabitha, Steven, Brandon, Christian, Brian Jr., Austin, and Patrick and Great-Grandmother of Apollo.
Born to the late Charles and Valerita (nee Klotz) Foster on September 28th, 1946, in Philadelphia, PA. LaMarr grew up in the Somerton area of Philadelphia, she attended Northeast High School as part of the graduating class of 1964. LaMarr spent her time working professionally as a hair stylist for nearly 10 years and then changed career paths to become a dental hygienist, which she was incredibly proud of, for nearly 20 years.
LaMarr enjoyed spending time with family. She loved to play board games and card games with her children and grandchildren. She also loved going to the beach, doing puzzle books, spending time gardening and sitting in the sun.
LaMarr will be remembered fondly for her sense of humor, kind personality, and her love for her family.
In lieu of flowers, please donate in LaMarr’s name to The National Alzheimer’s Association.
