Laquane J. McLaughlin's Obituary
Laquane Jermaine McLaughlin, age 43, of Willingboro, NJ, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on February 14, 1981, at George Air Force Base in California, Laquane was the cherished son of James McLaughlin and Dorcas Pearl McLaughlin (née Penn).
He was a devoted brother to Nakia Stewart and her husband, Greg Stewart; Jimmie McLaughlin; Rasean McLaughlin and his wife, Jeanette McLaughlin and Montae McLaughlin. Laquane was a proud uncle to his nieces and nephews: Shamar Stewart, Jamir Stewart, Jayden Stewart, Nicolette Stewart, Jalen McLaughlin, Deztiny McLaughlin, Rasean McLaughlin Jr., Nitailia McLaughlin, Sierra McLaughlin, and Jazlynn McLaughlin. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends who will miss him dearly.
Laquane was a 1999 graduate of Willingboro High School. He furthered his education by attending both Culinary Arts and Cosmetology schools, showcasing his diverse interests and talents. He was employed as a Pharmacy Technician at Rite-Aid on Sunset Road in Willingboro, where he was known for his compassion and professionalism.
Laquane was an avid fisherman and a passionate animal lover, always finding joy in the simple pleasures of nature. His kindness, sense of humor, and warm spirit made a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Friday, January 17, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, Cinnaminson, NJ. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeview Mausoleum, 1300 Route 130 North, Cinnaminson, NJ.
