Lawrence "Larry" DiGilio's Obituary
Lawrence “Larry” J. DiGilio passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at his residence in Delran, NJ. Born in Philadelphia, Larry was 49 years old. He was a resident of Delran for 39 years and formerly lived in Norristown PA.
Larry was the beloved husband of 21 years to Cheryl Lynn (nee Korpa). Loving father of Dylan, Joseph, Anthony (Riane) and Daniel. Cherished grandfather of Sophia. Son of Guiditta “Judy” and the late Peter DiGilio. Brother of Peter (Raquel) DiGilio and their children Nick, Drew and Jenna.
Son-in-law of Sandra and Joseph Theis. Brother-in-law of Jennifer, Joseph and Sean. Also surviving are nieces, nephews and cousins.
Larry was a graduate of Delran High School. He employed with TriState Vending in Mt. Laurel, NJ. Larry volunteered many hours coaching Pop Warner Delran Football and various township Baseball.He enjoyed working on cars, golfing with his “wolf-pack”, and honoring his neighborly duty by generously always lending a helping hand. However, the most important purpose for life was his love for this family and cherished the time spent with his family. Larry was known as the “life of the party.” If you needed a good laugh or just wanted to smile, you knew you could count on Larry for just that!
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Larry’s Life Celebration and viewing Thursday Eve 6 p.m. – 9.m. and Friday 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Givnish’s of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North.
His Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
