Lawrence "Larry" G. Werner's Obituary
Lawrence Glen Werner, affectionately known as “Larry” to those who knew and loved him, of Atco, NJ, passed away on July 5, 2020. Born in Livingston, NJ to the late William and Elizabeth Werner, he was 70 years old.
Larry was the beloved father of Kristin Tyler and Jessica Kolakowski (Jimmy). Cherished “Opa” of Savanna Tyler and Jaxon Kolakowski. Loving partner of Marlene Massaro for 20 years. Larry leaves behind extended family and dear friends who will miss him tremendously. Anyone who met him learned quick that his three loves in life were: his family, his boat “My Motivation” and tropical beaches.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, July 9, at Givnish of Marlton, 398 East Main St., from 10 am to 12 pm. Masks will be required, and social distance requirements in effect. We ask that visitors pay their respects and leave the building promptly to give other visitors the chance to enter. Larry’s family greatly appreciates your understanding, and in keeping with his spirit also asks that you wear your best Hawaiian shirt, or brightly colored clothing, to celebrate Larry’s life. His memorial service will follow the visitation at 12 noon but will be private for the family. It will be live streamed on Larry’s tribute page for extended family and friends who wish to watch. In lieu of flowers, donations in Larry’s memory may be made to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, www.CCalliance.org.
