Lee D. Napier's Obituary
Lee D. Napier passed away peacefully on Monday, January 16, 2017. Born in Dayton, OH, Lee was 83 years old. He was a resident of Cinnaminson for the last 41 years. Beloved husband of the late Kristin Napier. Loving father of Sherrie Mason, David, Mark (Barbara), John and Michael. Brother of Gloria Hall and Marc Bicking. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
Lee proudly served his country in the US Navy as a corpsman during the Korean War. He studied business administration at the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio, before launching successful careers in the automobile industry and real estate.
He was a brother in the Freemasons (Covenant Lodge No. 161), a member of the Moose Lodge, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans. As an active member of the Asbury United Methodist Church, he sang in the choir.
Lee was a quick-witted gentleman with a joke for all occasions. He enjoyed playing Pinochle with his children and loved listening to jazz music while playing his trumpet. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Asbury United Methodist Church, Cinnaminson, NJ on Saturday, January 21, from 10-11 AM. The funeral service will begin at 11AM. Interment with Military Honors will take place at Lakeview Memorial Park.
