Lee Wells' Obituary
Lee Wells, a lifelong resident of Maple Shade, NJ passed away at home with his wife by his side on November 12, 2021. Born to the late George and Anita Wells, he was 78 years old.
Lee was the beloved husband of Linda (Wright) for 56 years; loving father of Rob and his wife Lelania and the late Roy Wells. Cherished grandfather of Jackie, Ronnie, Courtney, Alycia and Aaron; great grandfather of Sibel, Xander, Thia and Ceyda, and his loyal companion Sage. He is survived by his sister-in-law Bev and many nieces and nephews. Lee was predeceased by his siblings, Ron Wells and Arlene Smith.
Lee was United States Navy Veteran. He proudly served as a Maple Shade Police Officer for 33 years. Lee was a Teamster Local 676, and a driver for Western Craft. He was very active in the AM Vets, American Legion and PBA 267.
Lee was happiest around his family and friends, specifically at family gathers. He enjoyed birthday celebrations and events where he could watch his grandchildren the most.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 East Main Street, on Friday November 19th from 11 am to 1 pm. A memorial service will begin at 1 pm. The service will be live streamed and can be viewed with this link: https://my.gather.app/remember/lee-wells
