Leona R. Hoffman's Obituary
Leona R. Hoffman (née Szymaszek) of Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on November 4, 2025, at the age of 94.
Born in Shenandoah, PA, to the late Frank and Anne Szymaszek, Lee was the youngest of nine children, all of whom preceded her in death. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years, William R. Hoffman, who passed away in December 2009.
Lee was the devoted mother of Paula A. Hoffman (Steve Stark) and Kimberly K. Corr (Brendan); cherished Mom Mom of Kiersten Lee Bialon (Stephen), Brendan Corr (Hannah Lettie), and Kaylee Corr; and adoring great Mom Mom of Stephen James “SJ” Bialon. She was the beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Bill, and her daughters and grandchildren were the absolute joy of her life. She often said, “How blessed are we having each other!”
Lee’s life was centered around her family, whom she loved deeply. She and Bill shared a beautiful and loving marriage filled with laughter, card games of 500 Rummy, and time spent tending their garden together. Many of their happiest memories were made on trips to Beach Haven, Long Beach Island, where they enjoyed the ocean and each other’s company.
She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish and did a lot of volunteer work there. She taught CCD for many years, and Lee was also a member of the “Catholic Daughters of the Sacred Heart Church” in Riverton, NJ, and “The Mother’s Club.”
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, November 21st, at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, from 9 am to 10 am. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 2500 Branch Pike, Cinnaminson. Interment at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband, will be private for the family.
