Leonard Basileo's Obituary
Leonard Basileo, 75, resident of Medford NJ passed away on Tuesday March 19, 2019 surrounded by his family.
Len was born in Brooklyn NY and lived on Long Island. He was a volunteer firefighter for over 20 years and spent time as the captain as the Lindenhurst Chemical and Rescue Company No 1.
Leonard Basileo was the beloved husband of his wife, Pat Basileo (nee Kane), of (38 years). Len was a devoted father to his 5 children Steven Basileo(Tiffany), Chris Basileo(Joanne), Michele Richter, Richard Richter(Lisa), and Kevin Richter(Laura). He was a caring grandfather to Jonathan, Kayla, Michael, Brooke, Ava, Alexa, Amy, Lillian, Logan, Angela, Clint, John, Erin, and Monche. Len is survived by his 5 siblings Paul Basileo(Marie), Antoinette Schimmel(Henry), Vinny Basileo(Lynne), Michele DeMarco(Charlie), and Denise Cinque(Late Steven); along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A gathering of family and friends for Leonard Basileo will be held twice on Friday March 22, 2019 at Givnish of Marlton 398 E. Main Street, Marlton, NJ 08053 from 2pm-4pm and again from 7pm-9pm. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday March 23, 2019 at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church 40 Jackson Road, Medford, NJ 08055 starting at 11am.
