Leonida Mercado's Obituary
Leonida Mercado (nee Reyes), of Bensalem, PA, and Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, March 8, 2019. Leonida was 95 years old.
Leonida was the beloved wife of the late Simon Mercado. Loving mother of Felicula Guerrero (Asher), Carmelita Modelo (Romeo), Rolando Mercado (Heidi), Maurelio Mercado (Liwayway), Perlita Amena (Michael), Maria Delce Malaluan (Reynaldo), Evelyn Mariano (Antonio), Anabel Mendoza (Rolando), and Expedito Bethoven Mercado (Olga). Mother-in-law of Rodelyn Manago. Dear Inay of Don Joseph Guerrero, Sanford Guerrero (Zyreen), Lindsey Aguinaldo (William), Landon Mercado, Glenn Modelo, Jonathan Mercado, Jeremy Mercado (Allison), Jed Amena, Michelle Amena, Hazel Chuong (David), Rhea Malaluan, Evan Mariano, Lynette Mariano, Kayla Mendoza, Ronnie Mendoza, Nicole Manago, Kyra Sophia Mercado, and Simon Lorenzo Mercado. Great Inay of Caleb and Brody Chuong. Loving sister of Engracia Reyes, Luis Reyes, Clara Castillo (Wilfredo), Juana Lorzano (Victorino), Amanda Rocinto, and Ceferina Reyes.
She is predeceased by her parents, Primitivo and Toribia Reyes; her daughter, Loida Manago; her daughter-in-law, Maria Mercado, and her brother-in-law Zosimo Recinto.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 N., on Tuesday evening from 7 – 9 pm, and Wednesday morning from 9 – 10 am. Her Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 2500 Branch Pike, Cinnaminson. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
