Leroy H. Kaufmann's Obituary
Leroy H. Kaufmann, 89, of Delran, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2024, at Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly. Born in Philadelphia, Leroy was a longtime resident of Delran, where he lived for 65 years.
He was the beloved husband of 68 years to Thelma B. Kaufmann. Leroy was a loving father to Debbie Anderson and Steven Kaufmann, and a proud grandfather to Shelby (and her husband Matt), and great-grandfather to Cassandra. He was also the dear brother of the late Elaine Corduff.
Leroy dedicated much of his life to his work as a truck driver. He began his career with Hordis Brothers in Pennsauken and later became an independent truck driver. His love for the open road and hard work defined much of his life.
In his free time, Leroy cherished his 2001 Camaro, enjoyed his daily Wawa coffee, and loved watching game shows on television. His sense of humor and joyful presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A private cremation service will be held.
The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Samaritan Hospice in Leroy’s memory.
