Linda Marie McAnnaney's Obituary
Linda Marie McAnnaney (nee Binkowski), of Willingboro, NJ, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2024. Born in Trenton, NJ to the late John W. and Evelyn K. (nee Savage) Binkowski, she was 74 years old.
Linda was the beloved wife of the late Abbott Leon McAnnaney; loving mother of Michael McAnnaney, Marie Neusch (Ken), and David McAnnaney (Stephanie); cherished Grandma of Teddy, Ashley, Aaron, Ana, Maci, Amanda, and Darlene; Great Grandma of Max; dear sister of John Vincent Binkowski, Paul Binkowski, and the late Joseph Binkowski. She is survived by many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Linda started her working career at McGraw-Hill Publishing Company, where she met the love of her life, Abbott McAnnaney. She then worked at Virtua Memorial (formerly Mount Holly) Hospital in the laundry department and also volunteered on the Willingboro Emergency Squad. Linda was blessed to work with her daughter at McMillan Book company and then with her two sons at Wyeth-Ayerst Pharmaceuticals, where she later retired as a machine operator.
Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a regular bingo player and liked to play the slots at the Parks Casino. As a former member of the Red Hatters, she enjoyed attending many musical shows. She loved reading about God and listening to songs of worship. Her greatest passion was spending quality time with her grandchildren and great grandson.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a visitation at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, on Tuesday evening, January 23rd, from 6 pm to 8 pm. A second visitation will be held on Wednesday morning, January 24th, at St Raphael’s Parish, 3500 S. Broad Street, Hamilton Twp, NJ, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Mass will begin at 10:30 am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda’s memory may be made to The Shriners Children’s Hospital (www.shrinerschildrens.org).
