Lisa Ann Soley's Obituary
Lisa A. Soley of Marlton, NJ, passed away peacefully on February 6th, 2026, at the age of 60.
Born to the late Andrew (2011) and Rosmary (nee Macchia) Bellano on April 6th, 1965, in Philadelphia, PA. Growing up, Lisa attended Paul VI High School as part of the graduating class of 1983, going on to attend Cabrini College where she made friends that would withstand the sands of time. As she grew into adulthood, Lisa found her voice. She was unapologetically herself and would stand up for what was right no matter the consequences. Lisa made many friends who helped her become the woman she is today with the strong foundation of unwavering support and community.
As a young woman, Lisa always knew she wanted a family of her own. Her dreams came true when she became the mom of Shannon (Casey Graham) Soley. Lisa loved being Shannon’s mom. She had the opportunity to share her knowledge with her daughter, whether it was helping Shannon with her homework or teaching her social skills. Lisa was a pillar of empathy, always offering comfort, understanding, and a listening ear. Yet, she also believed deeply in the importance of structure and integrity. Whether through a gentle word of guidance or a firm hand when necessary, she taught those around her right from wrong with unwavering clarity. Her love was unconditional, and her wisdom, rooted in both kindness and fairness, shaped the lives of those lucky enough to know her.
Time with family and friends was incredibly important to Lisa. She cherished every moment she could to host a holiday event where she could cook a meal made with love for those she loved the most. Her family cherished memories of how Lisa’s favorite holiday was Christmas Eve where they celebrated with The Feast of The Seven Fishes. Lisa’s family extended not only to her human family, but to her beloved fur-family Buddy and Smokey.
When Lisa was not spending time with family, she could be found preparing for her next craft show. Lisa had an incredibly creative spirit, she enjoyed beading and was a member of the Bead Society. Her passion was making handcrafted jewelry. Lisa’s love of jewelry making made for wonderful gifts for friends and family, she loved sharing her passion with others around her. Professionally, Lisa worked briefly Midlands Federal as their Operations Manager until her passing as this was a new career, and was ecstatic over the new opportunity for her future.
Lisa will be missed deeply by those who knew and loved her for her kindness, warmth, and authenticity to herself.
