Lizbeth Alexander Brunswick, affectionately known as Beth to those who knew and loved her, passed away peacefully at her sisterās home in Cherry Hill, NJ on April 28, 2022 at the age of 68. Born in Abington, PA on May 30, 1953 to Read Obituary
I first met beth many years ago when she and Ed were guests in Trattoria Del Arte where I worked. We became fast friends and enjoyed many good times together and along the way Beth taught be some valuable life lessons:
1) "things" are just things and replaceable.
2) bringing people together to share good times and make memories is very important
3) always have BIG bowls of candy in the house
Although we lost touch over the years, I will never forget the impact Beth made in my life.
there is much truth to the term "only the good die young"

John first knew Beth as one of the "Gimbel kids" when he became the caretaker for Beth's Grandmother's place on Mooselookmeguntic. They reconnected as Board Members in the creation of Rangeley Health & Wellness and the Wellness Pavilion and Rehabilitation Center in Rangeley. Beth and John shared many telephone conversations when she learned that he, too, was living with cancer. They would greet one another, "How are you?" and both would say "I'm doing fine", no matter how heavy their health challenges were at that time. And then they would talk and laugh. Beth wrote the most beautiful letter to John, having it read by Jon Chodosh at the Mingo Springs Golf Course celebration of John's legacy of gardens, stone walls, and trails. She wrote about all that John had meant to her through the years. Beth made a point of letting us know how special we were to her. Her beautiful spirit hopefully taught us to always show up; to treasure the day we have; and to tell those that make a difference how special they are. Beth's generous spirit; her love for the Rangeley Region; and her delight in her extended family and huge circle of friends will always inspire me.

As my mom and I watched your Service, many memories flowed from my heart. I do feel honored knowing you Beth. You showed me that a woman has the power to be. You are a Strong Warrior Leader. You are Loved by so Many. I will miss your words of wisdom your laughter your caring ways. And yes each time when I need to clean the office I will hear your voice telling your "Eddie" you need to get out of your office and let Debbi clean..I will miss you so much. REST BETH.

Beth is one of the most selfless human beings I know. She always cared for other people over herself.
Iāll always have such amazing memories with her in NJ, Philly, Maine, Florida and NY! Her legacy will last forever.
I affectionately called her Aunt Beth even though I wasnāt family. She made me feel like it. Sheāll be sorely missed. Sending lots of love to her family and friends.

Beth and I had a lovely dinner and stroll in Manhattan pre pandemic. It was so special reconnecting with my cousin whom Iād not seen for years. We shared life experiences, our love of travel and existential commonalities. I am saddened to hear of her passing and and reassured she was deeply loved and cared for as she left this world.
