Loretta M. Latonick's Obituary
Loretta M. Latonick (nee Conran), Age 98, of Cinnaminson, NJ, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 6, 2022.
Loretta was a graduate of Hallahan High School (1942) in Philadelphia, where she played women’s field hockey. Upon graduation she worked for the Philadelphia Naval Depot as a teletype operator, where she met & married her husband Lt Cdr. Leo W. Latonick in 1954. She worked for the Navy until the birth of her children. After raising her children, she reentered the workforce working for Strawbridge and Clothier, where she remained until her retirement in 1989. In her retirement years, she found great enjoyment in doting on her grandchildren, finding great treasures at thrift stores and participating in line dancing at the Senior Center. Loretta had a generous heart in gift giving, which was outdone only by her elaborate gift-wrapping skills. She was well known to close friends and family for baking and decorating a handmade chocolate cake to celebrate your birthday.
Loretta was predeceased by her husband Leo of 32 years in 1986, her granddaughter Kristen Latonick and her 12 siblings. She is survived by her four children Leo Latonick (Susan) of Severna Park MD, Richard Latonick (Cindy) of Cinnaminson NJ, Gary Latonick (Jeanne) of Hockessin DE and Lynn Senavilla (John) of Cinnaminson NJ; 9 grandchildren, Michael (Kaitlin) Latonick, Matthew Latonick, Meghan (Michael) Bertram , Kathleen Latonick, Ashleigh (Andrew) Gibson, Kevin (Hahna) Latonick, RJ Senavilla, Brian (Dawn) Latonick and Sean Senavilla and 5 great grandchildren.
