Lorraine Getz's Obituary
Lorraine M Getz of Marlton, NJ, passed away peacefully on May 20th, 2026, at the age of 62.
Born to the late Joseph and Geraldine (Moore) Semple on January 21st, 1964. Lorraine is the beloved wife of Larry Getz, Married August 8, 2008, sister of Ed (Grace), David, Tom (Norma), Jeff (Jenn) and Larry Semple.
Growing up, Lorraine Attended Pennsauken High School as part of the graduating class of 1982.
Lorraines biggest cherish was her children Joseph (Caroline) Dolan and Rachel (Keith) Moulton. As her children grew up and began lives of their own, Lorraine became the beloved grandmother of Jack, Reed, Hailey, and Owen. As a grandmother,
she enjoyed hearing from her kids about how the little ones were doing and being able to spend time with them. While she was an active grandmother, she also devoted her time to her beloved dogs, Lucy and Luna, who kept her company throughout her days. As a family, they enjoyed spending
quality time with one another and enjoyed Lorraine’s cooking as she hosted one of her
many dinner parties.
Lorraine’s outgoing, charming personality led her to many different relationships in
her life as she kept close touch with her many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends
she maintained for years.
While not spending time with her family, Lorraine could be found thrifting at local stores, enjoying a martini at Steak 38 with her girlfriends, and watching John Wayne and Lucielle Ball on the television.
Lorraine will be missed deeply for her thoughtfulness, compassionate energy, and her kindness.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Lorraine’s visitation on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026, from 5pm – 7pm, followed by a celebration of life at 7pm in Givnish Funeral
