Louis Michael D'Ambrosio's Obituary
Louis Michael D’Ambrosio, affectionately known as “Louie” to those who knew and loved him, passed away peacefully at his home in Delran, NJ on January 19, 2025. Born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Thomas and Barbara (nee Conti) D’Ambrosio, he was 87 years old.
Louie was the beloved husband of Angela (nee Hughes) for 65 years; loving father of Susan Krienes (late Van) and Lorraine Goodwin; cherished Grandpa of Michael Marsdale (Samantha), Victoria Goodwin, Nicholas Krienes (April Fisher), Alexandra Goodwin, and Anthony Goodwin; Great Grandpa of Vincent VanSant, Omir Thomas, Warren Marsdale, and Makai Thomas. Louie was predeceased by his brothers Thomas and Gustave D’Ambrosio. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends who will miss him greatly.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Marlton, 398 East Main Street, on Thursday evening, January 23rd, from 4 to 8 pm, and again on Friday evening, January 24th, from 4 to 8 pm, and lastly on Saturday morning, January 25th, from 8:30 to 9:30 am. His funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am at Resurrection Parish, Church of the Holy Name site, 260 Conrow Road, Delran, NJ, followed by entombment in St. Peter’s Cemetery and Mausoleum, Bridgeboro Rd., Riverside. In lieu of flowers, donations in Louie’s name may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, www.chop.edu, or to the Make A Wish Foundation, www.wish.org.
