So many memories of Lou from high school! His intelligence, sharp wit, open heart and passionate interests drew people to him. School plays, parties at his house, laughing in the lunch room, tennis, horror movies and music that I never would have known about without him, he instantly made any gathering more fun. If he wasn't making you laugh, he was making you think in a new way about something. I wish I could have kept in touch. Sorry to learn about his health concerns and his passing way too soon.

Lou & I had the best time in high school. We were on the bowling team together. What a blast we had! We would talk about the rock group Rush all the time, and how awesome the lyrics were. I remember that Lou started a game with 10 strikes in a row, where you need 12 for a perfect 300 game. We and the whole bowling alley were going nuts, as Lou had 6 in a row, 7 in a row, 8 in a row, 9 in a row, 10 in a row, and ended up with a 283 score. In the photo below, Lou is second from the left, and I'm on far right. In the photo and article, Lou was a Junior in high school, and the team went to the NJ State finals, but lost.
