Louis Alfonzo Papa's Obituary
Louis Alfonzo Papa, of Pennsauken, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on September 9, 2021. Born in Camden, NJ to the late Alfonzo and Mary Papa, he was 88 years old.
Louis was also predeceased by his 6 brothers, 7 sisters, his grandson Timothy Lucas Papa, and his great granddaughter Madelyn Jade Pardi.
Louis is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Judy (Banules) Papa. He was the loving father of Cynthia Papa, Louis Papa, and Kimberly Papa-Haas; Cherished grandfather of Anthony Alfonzo Papa, Vincent (Destiny) Zambrana, Amanda (Timothy) Pardi, and Victoria (Jackson) Beringer; Adoring great grandfather of Mya Pardi, Sophia, Logan, and Lucas Zambrana, and Izabella Ribeiro; dear brother of Rita Giovanetti and Theresa Flannigan; dear brother-in-law of Jim and Denise Carpenter. Louis is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will miss him tremendously.
Louis was a lifetime member of the Delaview Fire Company. He worked for the Philadelphia Navy Yard Fire Department and was very proud of his service to them. Louis enjoyed going to the casinos, playing solitaire, and bowling. He was an avid cook and loved making soup! His favorite times were spent with his family, playing the guitar and singing to his great grandkids.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 N., on Wednesday, September 15, from 10 am to 12 pm.
