Louis L. Pell's Obituary
Louis L. Pell, 89, of Delran, NJ, peacefully passed away on November 16, 2023. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA on July 8, 1934 to the late Michael and Louise Pell (nee DiGiacomo), Louis was the devoted husband of the late Helen E. Pell (nee Bartlett) and a beloved father of Louis (Christine), Andrea (Max), Denise (Brad), and Christopher (Alison). He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Louis is predeceased by four brothers Leonard, Michael, Thomas and Donald. He will be deeply missed by many friends and relatives.
After graduating Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia, Louis began his career at Penn Ventilator Co. in Philadelphia, PA where he was a manufacturing engineer for over 40 years. After his retirement, he dedicated many hours to designing and assembling his extensive train layouts and attended many exhibitions where he would display his works of art. He was very proud of his workmanship and took pride in showing them to everyone. Over the course of his life, he was an avid boater, fisherman and hunter. In addition, he was a big fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies.
Louis was a true family man first and foremost. He took much pleasure in spending time with his family, especially during the summer months in Brigantine, NJ with his extended family as well. There is nothing he wouldn’t do for his family and friends.
A gathering to celebrate Louis’s life will take place on Sunday, November 26th at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, Cinnaminson, NJ, from 5:00 pm to 7:00pm, followed by his funeral service at 7:00pm. His final resting place will be at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson. In honor of Louis, contributions in his name may be made to Deborah Hospital Foundation, www.deborahfoundation.org/donate
